Parish Organizations

Sunday School (Parish Activity)

The humble beginning of the Sunday school with 28 students was in 1995 to facilitate scripture study of our children who did not have this facility in Sharjah at that time. By God's grace, the Sunday school has grown steadily and is having more than 245 students on the roll at present with 37 teachers and Mr. Sajan Baby John as Headmaster. A Sunday School Committee was formed in 2007 with one year office term to manage the matters and its current Secretary is Mrs. Lisa Thomas. Sunday school day and Balajana perunaal are being celebrated on the first Friday of every November. To generate awareness among the children about the need of supporting the poor and needy children, a special collection is made on this day and presently we are sponsoring Children of Bethel Ashram Tiruvalla, Trichur and Madangalli Andra Pradesh.
